Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Plant Controller in the analysis of financial and operational data, the preparation of reports, and providing recommendations to management. The objective of the role is to ensure reliable analyses that support decision‑making processes, cost control, and the optimization of the manufacturing plant’s performance.
 

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the plant’s financial performance and preparation of reports for the Plant Controller and management.

  • Monitoring budget execution, variance analysis, and identification of areas requiring improvement.

  • Cooperation with the Production, Logistics, and Finance departments in collecting data and explaining variances.

  • Preparation of financial forecasts and support of the budgeting process.

  • Participation in cost optimization and production process improvement projects.

  • Preparation of presentations and reports for the Management Board and global finance structures.

  • Ensuring compliance of reporting with corporate procedures and SOX standards.

  • Supporting the analysis of plant KPIs and recommending improvement actions.
     

Education and Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree (preferred fields: Finance, Economics, Accounting).

  • Professional experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling; experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

  • Foreign languages: Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

  • Additional language skills: Ability to prepare reports and presentations in English.

  • Technical skills: Knowledge of management accounting principles, cost analysis, and budgeting.

  • IT systems: Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle Hyperion), advanced MS Excel skills; knowledge of BI tools (SAP Cloud Analytics).

  • Analytical thinking: Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.

  • Motivation and commitment: Proactive attitude, results‑oriented mindset, ability to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate with various departments.
