They encourage applicants to use a third-party chatting application (e.g., Telegram, WhatsApp) for communications, ultimately seeking personal information and money. If you believe you may have fallen victim to this scam or are aware of a similar situation involving the company, please report it to CyberSecurity@cooperstandard.com.
Please note, Cooper Standard will never ask new hires to pay for equipment. In response, our team is taking preventive measures and actively scanning common job boards to search for any fraudulent postings.
